| Nice DOF and light. They add interest, texture and quality to a photo that could easily be considered mundane. |

| So if grass is the subject then theres no bg/neg space. And if grass is the bg/neg space then theres no subject for it to give wow to. Somethings missing imo. but its a nice shot of grass. |

| I really like this picture - it has lovely light that makes a rather ordinary subject interesting, but I don't really consider this negative space. |

| For me, this would score even higher if the bottom were cropped a bit more so the dark band/top of grass wasn't running through the center of the photograph. I like the color progression. 5 |

| lovely texture, but no negative space. negative requires positive to exist. |

| I think many may not see the negative space in this picture. I think I can follow your train of thought with this, but whatever it was, I like this outcome. The DOF is great, the lighting is great, and the variation of colors works very well with this image. |
