Background is too cluttered even tho it is oof (not talking about the brush bit itself but the blue, yellow and white bit)... as for what it is i think i just told you, and i think it might have looked better if you had cleared the hairs from it and taken it without the padded bit (ie the bit the "sticks" are attached to) in the crop. Just a thought on making it more puzzle and more eyecatching :) cant vote this more than a 5 based on that, sorry :(

Hmm I am thinking some kind of brush, and from the looks of the lil bug on the stick you may have some issues. Hope this helps. :)

brush, if you could've had a black background, or at least on that wasn't so brightly colored, and removed the hair from the brush, it would've been a great photo. It's a good subject. interesting on a macro level.

Nah, hairbrush. Can even see the hairs. It would have been more successful if the hairs were out of the brush, and also if the image was a lot clearer.

Well used hair brush? I could do without the old hairs in there, but I like the angle you used since it gives each row of bristles it's own space.

If you would have cleaned the hair out of the brush before snapping, I think you could have made something more out of this image. As it is, it just looks like a hairbrush. Good idea with good potential.

hairbrush I pressume? I'm not sure the hairs work as an advantage to the photo, or as a distraction. I like the selective focus on the second row, but I also think moving the camera ever so slightly upwards to avoid the two little red intrusions at bottom left would be good. The colours in the background are nice, but again, I'm not sure if they benefit the image or distract. ~5
