Hello from the Critique Club!
My first impression is that this seems a bit busy with no real subject that quickly grabs your attention. The main interest is definitely how you composed the shot to use the person's reflection. This is very novel and works wonderfully for this challenge.
The light and shadows play well with each other. Also, the soft focus gives this a surreal feel to it. Once you have looked at this for more than a few seconds, you begin to wonder what is the story going on here. What is this place? Why is this person here? This really brings some intrigue to this photo. The unfortunate thing about this, is that most voters only look at a photo for 2-5 seconds and you really need to look at this longer to truly enjoy it.
I see that this is only your second entry! Welcome to DPC!!! If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. |

legs on top and torso reflected in pool. Creative Waldo placement, but the rest of the picture os not very aesthetic. |

Excellent location and hiding of Waldo - would have liked the image to be crisper. The colours and tones are WONDERFUL! |

Waldo AND his reflection. Nice colors, especially in the greens. |

I like the idea, the legs at the top of the frame, and head and shoulders in the lower half. The scummy pond is kind of yucky, though. |

realy creative, neat take on the challenge - I like this! I know the clutter helps hide the waldo, but might be interesting and beautiful if you cropped out all concrete and rusty metal surrounding the blue and the green water. Just a thought. Another thing I also think is really awesome is the way the real waldo is cut in half by the crop, and the reflection is the same part that was off. :) Interesting photo. |

Very cool. Is that the lower half of the body at the top? |

Great photo! not a lot of those in this challenge. most people are too busy hiding their waldos. |

Might seem a bit busy but I actually like it very much. I would prefer a tighter crop, just showing the upper tube but obscuring the legs. |

I'm not sure what you are stating. Is this some sort of hatchery? |

How do you make an image appear hard and soft at the same time? Wonderful and atmospheric. Good idea, well executed. |

Interesting take on the challenge, like the way that you have got waldos top half reflected but only his legs showing (now all I need to do is find his feet) |

I had already set this as an 8, but it's getting bumped up. It's just wonderful. Great greens set against the dark water and the grey paths, wonderful use of the reflection to meet the challenge (the least of my concerns here, but a plus in your case), and good use of lines to drive the eye around the image. 9. |

The bar across the top being soft is a bit distracting. Otherwise, interesting colors and composition |

This is great - two "Waldos" for the price of one! Very effective in forcing your viewer to look at more than one spot in the image. |

I love the tones of this image and stillness of the water and the out of focus bar, which I hope others don't dislike too much (many people have a tendency to have things that aren't in focus for no good reason). |

Nice idea to include the lower half of the body and the upper half of the reflection, like a disjoined person. |

I do like that part of him is on the top and the rest in reflection on the bottom...but I find the image really poor in quality overall...not the composition, just the blurriness and lack of sharpness overall...5 |
