 This was taken in theodore roosevelt national park in north dakota, on my way out to a wedding in montana. we took the scenic drive, saw a buffalo, and this small herd of wild horses. i snapped a few pictures of the ones on the road as we drove by, and this one came out the best.

post processing included levels, hue/saturation, resize, save for web.

i hope this does really well, i love it.

wow Im supprised where this finished krystle, its such a nice calm shot, but I think it was the noise that let you down, but you were driving past when you took this? thats cool. Sometimes its more important that we like something. Good luck on the next one

Nice subject and composition! I have a suggestion for reducing graininess in the background sky. Why don't you download the free version of NeatImage from the web and give it a try. It does a nice job of smoothing graininess.

It would be nice if the silhouette were sharper, also some noise reduction would help.

nice sky, wouldve been nice to have a sharp shilloutte of the horse and that artefact made non-existent on the bottom right.

Like the simplicity of this. Why didn't you burn out the blue smudge in the lower right corner. Also, looks a tad out of focus, but that doesn't really bother me.
