Oh, he's wonderful! I think a little lensbaby action would suit him well :-) |

Huh. It's remarkable to me that people didn't 'get' this shot. Perfect capture of a particular era... Tones are great, slight softness of focus is not only ok but absolutely necessary to preserve the feel. on my monitor it could use just a touch more contrast, perhaps? Maybe that's just a personal taste thing. But a finely crafted image nonetheless.
I didn't vote this, but I would have given an 8 or a 9. |

a wonderful image. i gave it an 8. i knew it would be sorely unappreciated. i ilke not only the image, and the construction of it, but also the fact that you had the guts to submit an image so wonderfully, deceptively, simple to an expert editing challenge. well done indeed! |

While the uniqueness of this toy carries a lot of the photo's appeal, it's your subtle use of DOF and toning that elevates it to something more than just another shot of a toy. |

The midsection of the robot seems to be in great focus but gets softer as it goes out. I like the lighting of this photo. |

I enjoy the image for what it is, but, for the challenge I would have liked to see something much stronger. |

I really like the simplicity of this. |

A good prop but would benefit from more dramatic lighting and angle of composition (maybe lower camera position and a harsher single side light to make him look scary?) |
