Certainly unique.
Tones are cool, but there is something a bit unsettling about the focus/dof on this. |

I adore textures, but something about this makes me uneasy. Maybe the difference in the focus? |

I like it. I can almost reach out and feel its crispness. |

Very interesting! I love the contrast between the two roses. My eye is definitely drawn to the left. |

oh I love dried roses ... having a hard time deciding which I like the most ... I'm a big sepia fan, but my eye is drawn to the left ... really nice abstract composition! |

I like your concept and presentation and I understand it. But my eye is drawn to the right. Partially because I like sepia tones but partially by the out of focus-ness of it. |

maybe it's out of focus cause it's dying/dead to contrast the living rose=my own interpretation ! LOL |

Dried, yin/yang composition, has it all - a tuned balance of sharp/dof; purple/brown; upward/downward; left/right; half&half with your coffee. fine edit... |

My eyes are drawn to the left, but I prefer the sepia tones of the rose on the right. |

This is quite pleasing as an abstract. |

I like the purple rose...but the out of focus one on the right is taking away from the overall pic to me. |

I like the half and half composition, the different directions in which they're pointing, and the colour scheme. I am not so sure about the purplish dead rose looking so much more in focus than the brownish one. Somehow, to my mind, in a picture like this one they should be equally in focus ??? Just an idea. |

A beautiful study in contrasts, both the photographic and allegorical kinds. I love the depth of field, and opposing buds, the rift, the unique take on floral imagery. Nicely done. |

Dried roses? Very abstract point of view with an appealling symmetry. I am not sure I like the lack of focus on the flower on the right. |

Like the colors, feel like I'm missing something here with the DOF. |

I like the symmetry of this shot, rotated rather than straight line.
(can't remember the terms from geometry but hope i get the meaning across.)
The focus is a little troubling to me. It feels like I'm not finding the sweet spot on my bifocals. |

Interesting color and shapes. I like how it works as an abstract. Nice. |

Having just gone through a funeral, this gives me chills. Reminds me of forgotten loves.
I like that the focus keeps drawing me over to the left flower, and the shallow DOF. Very nice Bear, as always. |
