 Inspired by the other ones entered in this side challnge, I had no idea these were even in my garden, I guess I'm saying I hadn't looked at them this way before.
First day with new macro lens! YAY!!

Aren't macro lenses fun? Like seeing the world in a whole new light (not that I have one ;)

Love the fuzziness of these guys, mine aren't quite at this stage yet but I'll be checking. Great crisp detail.

Oh, my! The DOF focus is so good, but the textures on this flower are what sold me. Excellent work!

The little hairs on the leaf are neat .. The texture of the underside of the pedals is unique...

That macro lens is defective - it may need calibration.
Feel free to package it carefully, insure it and send it to me so I can run some tests on it - may take a few months. Oh - I don't charge for my testing either, and, I'll even pay the return postage.
:P

Nice shot - the dof works well on this, giving it a magic feel.
