 Funny little flower. Kind of weedy looking. Don't know what it is...but it was interesting.

I like, really really like, the soft focus. In my mind it works with the soft fuzzy texture of the flower.
In fact, this has a very painterly like feel to it. And I like!!

I love the colors on this image from the yellows to the lavenders in the background. It is indeed an interesting flower, I wish I could see it better.

The contrast of background and pale yellow is nice. Focus is a bit too soft for my liking, but as you stated, sharpening will be easier to do with PS Elements.

Very soft looking flower that kinda works for me with the soft focus on it. The little green part at the top of the flower looks to me like a little head with a hat on. Cute! I think Anni may be right about the crop making a big difference to the presentation of this flower.

Hi Evelyn~

the bloom looks a bit washed out here, and the bg boke (lovely by the way) doesn't work very hard to compete with my eye for attention...some sharpening & crop to feature the top of the bloom (to just below the 2nd or 3rd yellow "leaf" on the stalk) may add pizazz!

Thanks Bear...It's sharpened some but I couldn't seem to get it any better. My dentist is giving me Photoshop Elements since he doesn't like it. Hopefully I will be able to do more with my images.
