Really nice reflection image. I'd much rather see the fire than the rugby, given our South African team's poor performances of late. Not that I'm a rugby fan, cricket's my game - bring on summer already.
The square edit certainly does give it a voyeuristic feel - I don't think I'd have realised it was an added border if you hadn't said so. It makes for a much more interesting image. Sometimes 'cheating' can be a good thing. |

Ah, Australia. Now the fire makes sense. Here in the northern hem., of course, it's beastly hot.
Your photo caught my eye the way the view caught yours. Hey, btw, cheating is allowed in these side-challenges. :-)

lol from the thumbail i thought it was some kind of weird tv, then i opened it and thought it was some kind of weird fireplace, and now i read your description and am laughing. This is a pretty cool photo. Great idea for your composition. |

No wonder this caught your eye, this is a very cool view! The fire reflection is so interesting, and I echo the previous comments that this shot makes the viewer feel somewhat voyeuristic... so this is what your living room looks like :-) |

It took me a second to realize why you had a fire going. Then I saw who the photog was, and remembered where you are. This whole hemispheric seasonal thing confuses me. :) |

Ha....If adding a border to square it off is cheating then I am in deep doo-doo
The only thing with the border is that as you have the natural dark on the left it kind of seems a bit unbalanced...BUT on the other hand I really like it gives you the feeling that you are almost voyeuristically viewing something through a crack in a door
I LOVE reflections and ths one is cool...almost looks like an indoor barbie
Oh by the way tell Greg not to get to excited about the rugby cos come the world cup England are going to go all the way again (yeah right...all the way home without the trophy if we carry on playing the way we are) |

It looks like you're peeking into someone's home, very mysterious. Like a lurker! LOL! Great image, of course! |

Good cheat -- it makes it look as if we are peeking through a crack in some curtains. |
