 View from one of the windows in Linlithgow Palace, overlooking the Loch and local houses.
A dusting of snow helped to brighten the scene.
Adjustments to contrast, saturation,curves and unsharp mask. Neat imaged then resized and border added.

Though I find the image to be too static due to it's centeredness, I really like the inside green stone walls and the image on the outside. I really like how you've balanced the shadow and highlight areas inside the room. This whole image has the feel of a middle ages/renaissance painting. Meets the challenge well. Nicely done.

This looks like something out of a storybook. I love the way that the light just catches the smallest piece of the inside wall. It looks like a painting.

Beautiful, and lovely point of view. I'd love to see this in fall or summer. Seems like it's a bit chilly here, and the trees aren't leafy much. I love how the light comes in on the wall inside, and your focus and clarity are great for the mood of the photo. great spot for a photo op. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~

Both the foreground 'frame' and the 'framed' background are wonderful in their own right - this is balanced and yet vibrant with syncopation.

Great shot and POV. It has it's own frame. If you had bars on the window, that would be a great POV from a cell with such a nice day and outside landscape, yet can't get there.
