I flipped to a random page - it was a great suprise when during processing I realized the text said "the new way of things in the modern age"! How awesome is that?! :-D

Aside from the luck, I put a lot of effort into this and I am so, so proud of the result. :-)

THANKS TEAM SUCK for an awesome camera that I can use manual focus on easily and WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Awesome, Kelly! I really love the chosen depth of field and the serendipity of the page you landed on. Excellent example of a dichotomy (to me), and I'm most pleased that you're enjoying the new camera!

a lovely image indeed. the processing is perfect, and you seem to be using that camera very well indeed! the composition is spot on, and i love the feeling of the light.

this is terrific work - way to subtle for this crowd I guess. I think it's one of the best in the challenge - you got a DK ribbon for sure!

Oooh, Kelly, I'm lovin' every aspect of this - composition, vignetting, the message, how well it fit the challenge ... I agree that the text just nails it, too. Badly underrated!
