Great color throughout. I like that you chose a slightly colored background as opposed to a white one. It gives the image a warmer feel. |

Nice idea, with a good composition, clearly taking into account the rule of thirds. The orange and green colours work well against the white background, and it is good you have used soft lighting, so that no bright areas are cast onto the fruit. One suggestion I have tho, I think that it would look better if the peas were in the papaya, filling the hole completly, whereas at the moment they are just up the sides as far as I can tell. It just looks a bit strange. 8 Konador |

great shot. wonderful color and texture. would like to have the peas spilling out of the fruit, i think that would have been neat. (7) ~mcmurma |

Ok..I get it! LOL. I've never seen a Papaya before, so I was thinking that this is was they really looked like, with the green seeds inside. Then I noticed the title. I'm so gullible. LOL. This is a really neat photo. Extra points for fooling me. I like the angle and the framing is very nice. Was there some color modification done? The top of the photo is turning a bit pink and the top of the back fruit is a bit red. Then again, I've never seen one of these, so I could be wong. The focus and clarity are great. I like how you can almost count each and every pea. Overall really nice photo! Good luck in the challenge. ~HBunch7187~ |
