what a crazy cool image - i love the theme here - very imaginative and thought provoking. the image itself is very strong with great lighting on Christina's eyes and face - with the flower to 'illuminate' the whole scene. the veiled view with the blinds really enhances this image a great deal, adding the necessary tension and melancholy |

I don't get it, how did you zoom your prime? I like the effect though. Let me know how you did this, I would love to try the technique. |

Catherine, this is a great shot! One of my favorites in the challenge. I'm surprised it didn't score higher. The only things I see that "I" would change are: Christina's blue necklace is a little distracting and I would have cropped out the window jam on the left. Just trying to be helpful. :-) ~Cecilia |

This is a very nice shot. I like the softness to it. I think the yellow really adds to it and is perfectly situated. Nice job Catherine. |

Oh, she's so pretty, and the giant sunflower reflecting on her face is great. This is very poignant with that title. Without the title it is a dream calling at the back door. Wonderful composition. |

A beyond the literal kind of photo - cool.
Beautiful portrait! Love the use of blinds and the flower in this is awesome. |

A nice idea with strong colours, although the way the door/slats are structured ends up taking away more from the shot than it ultimately gives. Your composition is a touch too centred and the gap in the doorway on the left is slightly distracting.
6 from me - good luck |

Nice shot... love the flower and the eyes... It lacks just a touch of contrast, but I do like it. |

Nice image. The glow in the yellow flower is nice. I think more emphasis on the girls face would be nice. |

Neat photo--great color, interest, eyes, sharpness of foreground with blurred background. The only suggestion might be to crop out the shutter frame on the left; it doesn't add anything to the shot and may distract from the subject. |

I think this is an amazing photo. My only complaint would be to crop out the left side a little more to rid of part of the panel. |
