Close up on the head might have been better...or not cut top of back out.

Your horizon appears to be not level. I would also prefer to see all the animal or less of him with a more interesting composition!

Cropped to closely. i like their humps and tails.

seems rather dull...needs some "pop" to the color

This looks overexposed. I do like how you caught his breath out this nose.

Great subject, but its poorly composed and without much contrast or color. Of course I'd be afraid to get close enough to even take a shot :)

Cropping is a little tight around the animal. I really like the muted colors and think it's very appropo of NG. Good photojounalistic pic. Good job!

too washed out and over exposed

Seeing the breath is a nice touch.... not sure If I like the crop?

Might be better to shift the frame up to include the hump of the bison and less of the ground. Increase the contrast to make it even more striking.

Buffalo are such cool animals in my opinion, my dad raises them, anyway, I wish he wouldn't be cut off on the top.

Not too bad. I do think you need to watch how your framing your shots. The top of his back and tail are cropped off. Mighty beast! Not a bad shot just a bit tight here and there.

Neat picture but I wish his hump hadn't been "cut off".

Like the timing (to see the breath), would have liked less foreground and to see the whole back in the shot. In general more of the bison and less of the surroundings

A great animal to shoot, but think you could have found a better angle. Head on and closer would have been more fitting and would also have got rid of the white sky.

This might have been better if the hump and the rump weren't cropped off. To me that leaves an uneven balance in the composition. I'm sure it's not easy to be so near such a massive (and possibly dangerous) animal but see if, next time, you can keep the horizon level.
