Hmmm, this entry doesnt really appeal to me very much. I think you should have used a ripe banana, as this one looks quite old and battered and that kind of puts me off. Also, the focusing on this isn't all that good, try it in macro mode if you can't focus up that close. The bottom of the banana is cropped out aswell, which kind of messes up the frame in my opinion.

| I like the composition of this, and the colour processing you did gives it an interesting texture. It departs a bit from the vibrancy of most of the other photos in this challenge and looks more sober and serious. I like that. |

| Funny title! It looks like you have used a lot of contrast (?) on this, which i think gives it an edgy feel. That is effective, I think. The colors are a little bland to me though. Maybe a different background color to give it some contrast. karmat |

the stripper looks a little worn on the edges. Time for a fresh one. :)
I would prefer softer lighting. |

| you've got some funky lighting going on here, or you've played with the contrast too much. i think a more plain background would have worked better for me, and either cropping off more than just the end of the banana or having everything in the frame. this way, it looks accidental to me. -- gr8photos. |
