he is about 3 feet 8 inches and his chest looks like a doberman or a racing dog.
i think he might be a doberman mix.

Another animal portrait. The feet are cut off and the tail appears to be a growth on the head. The background could have been improved also and the coloring more saturated. I'm guessing you didn't spend a lot of time on this challenge.

slightly out of focus. Just not really appealing photo. The tree to the left is ery distracting.

The focus is too loose for me, the dog (Hobbes?) is too soft. The general composition is pretty ho-hum too.

This one, I'm sorry, looks like a snapshot, with the dog and the tree competing for attention. The background immediately around the dog also draws attention from the dog, instead of to it. Probably would have been better with a larger aperture - smaller f stop number - to shorten the depth of field and focus on the dog's head to make the background blur a bit. 4

The light seems very harsh, although surprisingly there aren't any shadows - very confusing! Focus is soft, with little detail in terms of texture preserved.

Cute dog, but the picture looks like a snap shot, 5 for the effort.

What a cute, happy face. Focus is a bit soft. Compositionally it would be best to include his feet, or do just a head and shoulder shot.

This would work well if the dog was centred, in focus and with a less cluttered background.
