Looking at this picture again, it would have been interesting to rotate 90 deg clockwise, ah theres the face!

Hmmm, interesting treatment and filters. I like that its in black & white, just not so sure overall...makes me ponder though...
07/24/2007 12:57:22 AM
Umm... a portrait of what?
07/24/2007 12:37:12 AM
portrait, not.
07/23/2007 08:16:44 PM
Portrait??? I don't get it. Is there anything to get?
07/23/2007 06:52:34 PM
Don't see why this fits the challenge
07/23/2007 08:08:08 AM
The portrait aspect escapes me....
07/22/2007 09:21:18 PM

not bad but the eyes look over-processed....; )

Come on now. An obvious attempt at the brown ribbon. I'll help you out with a 1.

I am confused about why this would be a portrait. But even if intended to be a portrait of a door handle and keyhole, I the filter effect is a negative, at elast for me, putting visual emphasis on a processing technique instead of enhancing the image. Others may differ.

The post production on this one is to harsh for me.

DNMC. Pixellated and blurry. Interesting picture / mood.
07/20/2007 08:15:31 AM
was this submitted to the wrong challenge?
07/20/2007 05:30:59 AM
It took a bit to see the portrait here, but then the nose and winking eye jumped out at me... I just didn't like the effect you used - it makes it look like you took this with a camera phone
07/19/2007 10:55:02 PM
i think the filter you used does nothing for the shot, and as portraits go it leaves something to be desired...like a human subject /3
07/19/2007 08:01:29 PM
how is this a portrait?
07/19/2007 01:18:51 PM
I just don't get it. THe extra editing is way too much. doesn't really look like a portrait in any way shape or form. You even took the shot in landscape format as opposed to portrait format, so i can't even give you credit for that.
07/18/2007 10:32:48 PM
This is not a portrait.
07/18/2007 10:18:31 PM
Serious pixelation
07/18/2007 09:12:29 PM
portrait? Looks like still life or abstract. The crop and the PP are distracting
07/18/2007 07:48:44 PM
interesting....
07/18/2007 05:08:47 PM
This is not a natural light PORTRAIT.
07/18/2007 03:38:27 PM
???
07/18/2007 02:15:06 PM
Portrait?
07/18/2007 10:50:28 AM
Interesting "take" on the challenge....hmmmm....very different processing. I'm afraid I just don't get it, sorry.
07/18/2007 10:49:57 AM
Er?
07/18/2007 08:49:47 AM
I don't think it meets the challenge for def. of portrait
07/18/2007 08:17:00 AM
How is this a portrait?
07/18/2007 07:17:54 AM
seems all blotchy or over edited...
07/18/2007 05:08:20 AM
Not really a portrait, imho. And I hate the filter.
07/18/2007 03:34:17 AM
