Too tightly framed - you shouldn't have cut off part of the small potato. Also I think the potatoes would have stood out better against a black background.

Is it just me or does Mama actually look proud? :o) This is an interesting shot that's technically well put together. The purist may be a little critical of the composition, and perhaps reframing to include both Mama and baby off centre with a little more background would have helped. I think the picture has flaws, but they are not big ones, but having said that, the image does capture the essence of how you wanted the shot to come across. Overall, a very good picture (8)

Idea is good. Boost contrast, change color balance to really make it stand out. As-is, it is a good documentary representation.

This might have had more visual appeal if the little "baby" potato head wasn't cropped off to the right. The focus and clarity are good. I like the detail in the potato skins. The lighting appears to be good. The angle is also nice. Overall good photo. Good luck in the challenge. ~HBunch7187~

Close crop on the big potato, overly cropped on the little one. Sorry, but low interest. Good focus. 6 Swash
