I see what you were trying to do but try this.
Crop out the whole of the stump on the left hand side. The middle stump, left stump and river then draw the eye straight to the setting sun. I think it makes a dramatic shot even more dramatic. If I had seen it presented like that I think it would be a fefinate 8 poss 9 |

I normally don't like big borders, but this time it seems to center the shot. I think it needs a touch more exposure in the foreground to pick out just a touch more detail. Nice job overall.

| Dramatic colors and clouds. Nice "frame" made by the posts (upper right would be better if top of post wasn;t cut off). Wish there were a spot of light to illuminate the foreground - so dark compared to the sky that you have to squint to see the lovely texture in the sand and are those crabs? |

| Great colors. I like the sky colors but am a little disappointed that the foreground details were discarded at their expense. It is a nice shot still, just looks like you could've used a neutral density filter to darken the sky and but keep more of the foreground details. The sand patterns if more visible would really add some life to the bottom of this photo. |

| Looks more like a Martian landscape to me as I think you've changed the color balance way too much and this looks highly unnatural. Not a getaway I would want to escape to. |

| Try a smaller aperture to bring the foreground back into focus as well to achieve a even better effect. |
