 this is a photograph of the mall, macarthur square, which is about a 35 minute drive from home ... me and greg had just seen the new harry potter movie and were doing a bit of shopping .. and of course a gloria jeans coffee .. i never go to the the square without getting one ... or two even !! ..
anyway .. it was getting late and we were sitting on a seat, waiting for the guy to engrave a new tag for katee who had lost her collar ... he was taking forever .. it was quite dark and all the shops were closing or had already closed down ... hand held ..
this is another one taken at the same time but looking in a different direction ..

I was in a shopping mall one time after all the stores had closed & it was such an eerie feeling, you captured that really well.

Two lovely things on this shot, one is that the floor looks as if it is soaking wet and secondly the chap who is walking towards you is casting a cool reflection in the shop window

Roz, my favorite part too is the man's reflection there on the side. You caught him at the right moment with the light overhead like that. And no surprise you were waiting for a tag for Katee lol - you've had her working quite a bit lately.

Cool colors, especially those reflected in that amazing abstract floor. This really says "closing time!" I like how the man is reflected in one of the store windows, and how he is lit while the women in the back are in total silhouette.
