 It was hot today! I was strolling around the West Village this afternoon when suddenly the heat got to me, so I boarded an uptown bus. I took this from the bus window.

The funny thing about this intersection is that it now sits in the middle of a very trendy area of NYC -- when only a few years ago this area was run down and rather seedy.

this is one of my favourite areas to walk around when i'm a bit bored. i like all the different shades of brown in the picture.

I love the building in the background! You captured so much in this little shot, the street signs, stop light, flag, etc. I can't believe how good this is being taken from a bus window!

Larry I like this shot, it kinda summarises the confusion of change. I only hope that as the area has gone upmarket that the original community has not been priced out and forced to move elsewhere (damn why do your images always make me think of work)

Such lovely textures in this shot. I have just spent a minute or so letting my eye wander around in your shot, enjoying them all. The different colors and textures of the bricks, the windows, the concrete -- very nice.

I like this... there is alot going on with out it being overwhelming and the signs are what is in focus.

I visited NYC once some years ago and this reminds me of that vacation. The colors seem to fit it so well.

Another one thru the bus window - looks really good. Did you have any kind of filter too? The clarity on the Hudson st. sign is excellent.

This has such a strong impact for something so simple in our everyday life.....
Excellent image here and I think the square crop really helps to make this image sing.....

I really like the rule of thirds re this wonderful street urban image.....
