I can almost see right through this snails shell, as it is almost transparent.
Excellent shot here, and this time I think you were robbed.
This deserved a much higher score and placing.....

82 out of 646 isn't bad, but I thought this should have scored better (I was one of your three 10s). Not to take away from the accomplishments of others, but I think this is superior to the other snail shot, which got 19th place. It makes no sense to me. However, trying to figure out voters is a losing game, so... keep up the good work!

Although the snail and flower are both very well exposed and the background is pleasing, there is something odd about the DOF to my eye. Nonetheless, an interesting photo. 7.
