I absolutely love this creation. It is a genuine piece of art. I would have given you a 10 but for the cropping. I'm sure you couldn't help it to have the correct size for the challenge but If each element was complete in the photo, it would have been perfect (after you take the little crum specs off the table with your editor). It is just so beautifully country and fresh and warm. The more I look at this the more things I like, for example, it was inspred to place the weeds on top of the fruit bowl in front. The placemat could have so easily been distracting but you placed it in so that it is not. This is in my top 3. - joanns (9+) |

This is a very well-arranged setting. The picture is sharp and pleasant to the eye.. I could see this being a posterboard picture in a kitchen. One small detail: The shadows cast on the wall a bit distracting. Another lamp providing light to hide that would have greatly complimented this picture. |

Well done, properly balanced, represents the season. I like the shadows on the wall and the sheen of the table top. |

This is a classic. It is a superbly constructed still life. The use of balanced colours and textures give the shot a relaxed rather than cluttered feel. It also uses the classic triangle placement which gives the shot equilibrium of subjects, thus making easy to look at. The lighting in this shot is also perfect, as is the angle the shot was taken. The mixed, but carefully placed objects, are made interesting by this really superb example of perfect, and highly professional, composition. You should do a tutorial based around this shot after the challengeâ€Â¦ (and I'm not joking) (10+++) |

Hard to think of it as a still life when it is so cluttered. I would like to see the fruitbowl and the plate in front as the only two components of this image. 5 sjgleah |

This is a beauty. Great lighting. The color and deep shadows in the fruit pop perfectly against the neutral, hi-key background items. Incredibly balanced composition. My eye hits that deep blushing peach, and then the grapes and stalks of grain take me to focus on the bright yellow-green apple, and then wander up to the delicate flowers which point me back down to the bowl with the peach. Wow. (10) -Jeremy |

Overkill - First to go is the green napkin, wrong color, introduced yet one more element and texture. Also I think some reflections on the table top might be evvestive but that napkin is in the way. |
