Adjusted white balance and saturation a bit, sharpened.

I was taking some easy shots for another contest, and was going to use it for today. but decided I might use it in the free study, so I quickly shot this instead.

If I didn't have the dull Wal-Mart headache, I'd make up a funny story for it. (I promised my son that if he would just get on stage with his class for his Vacation Bible School "commencement," I'd take him to Wal-Mart and buy him *anything.* he couldn't decide, but finally (after almost 2 hours) decided on a DVD (fortunately, he still likes the cheapos) and a backpack with a tent, sleeping bag, and other "essentials. It was really cool and only $20. The tent is set up in our living room right now. :/ The daughter ended up with a dvd, a pack of $0.88 bracelets, and a pink T-ball batting helmet (it's what she wanted!) I probably should have taken a picture of the helmet and the tent. Anyway, I don't know if it is the lights, or what, but that long in WM gives me a headache.)

lol Walmart headache - I think I've had one of those before. They sell some really great walmart motrin to take care of that tho...

Good macro. And the colors are bright and peppy too... that seems to contrast with your walmart headache tho lol.

Nice color and texture, excellent focus and dof! Wouldn't mind seeing the little stray threads cloned out, would add to the pristine feeling of this image :-)

Very interesting image. I love seeing closeups of knits and patterns and such. What is it?
And I think the headache if from being with 2 kids on a shopping spree of sorts.

We need to see that tent in the living room!!!

Very nice shot here, great colours which are vibrant and just jump off the screen at you, and a super focus which means you can almost feel the textures

lovely

That's a loooooooooooooong time for WM. Too bad you didn't have your camera in-hand - you could have done a WM study! That is, unless the WM police came after you. Nice colors and the composition nails it.

You are a brave soul to subject yourself to WM for that length of time.
I love the colors and the textures of this photo.
