Greetings from the Critique Club!
KING,
I have to agree, this image is extraordinarily sharp, I can see why though...I also have a 50 f/1.8. The first thing that grabbed me about this image was the colors of the rock in the upper left and the colors of the fish. The dark background works perfectly and the positioning of the fish (composition) is extremely well done. There really isn't much to critique about this image so I'll stop right here and say, great work!

Thank you all for your comments! Regarding the amount of sharpness I have to say that I didn't do much about it. It just that the 50/f1.8 is so sharp =-). Another reason can be the DOF caused by the large aperture and the difference in distance between especially the top fish and the rocks in the background. |

The vibrant colors of the fish makes this shot almost look 3D. Very sharp details in the coral. Good depth of field helps to fade the coral into the background. |

Nice. And real live rock. I think I would have liked to see an amemone with these guys, but I guess you had to take whatever was there. Is this your's or a public aquarium? |

Excellent. Doesn't suffer from the usual problems when taking in a tank (which I assume this is). 9 |

Great job capturing the detail. It looks like it's pretty heavily sharpened but it works very well here. - 9 |

I like the light and the colour very much. Only the balance between the fishs and the rocks is a little off. Maybe only showing just one fish would have been better.
Still, I hope you do well with this wonderfull image. |

Very good colors. Aquarium shot. IMHO, even just the top fish would do for more focus. |

Well done. great colors, nice dof, fish cooperated and are in excellent spots of the frame. In the title you've begun to tell the story (and you told me what I'm looking at) can't ask any more. |

I think a tight crop on the upper fish would of given this more of a punch. Too much rock? Wonderful color and fantastic tank shot. |
