 Converted from RAW to TIFF with default settings. Used Photoshop Elements 2 to crop, clone out an oil spot on the driveway, resize for web, and sharpen.

Very cute, I like how her eye is framed by the greenery. I like you you can see her shy smile in her eye. The DOF works in the sense it adds to her hiding, but the large blurry rise is distracting. Would be better without the rose bush at all and just the hedge. As is, you could crop the right hand side, losing the rose and keeping the green.

I do like the great smile of the girls eye, I can almost hear her giggle. I don't see to much "shy" in the image though, more "hide and seek". Also the foreground rose disturbs a lot.

you could crop about half the picture on the right side to bring emphasis to the little girl

I wasn't quite sure how this fit into the over-all theme, but what a clever picture! Nice use of depth of field to draw the eye to that cute little face. Very playful and fun!

The girl is cute, the colors are pretty, but that out-of-focus, very light flowr in the front dilutes the effect.

You show just enough of the little girl to connect us with her. Greenery in the foreground distracts from your cute subject.

cute photo of a child at play. I think it could be cropped down to take out the right half of the photo as the oof flower does not add to the story here.

This might be more effective without the flower in the foreground or with increased DoF so it is not quite so out of focus.
