I think it suits the idea for the contest. I like the composition and focus. I think what hurts it a bit is the sky. It's a bit blanched out and just kind of blah. On days when the light isn't right or the sky isn't pretty, it's hard to make it look otherwise. Maybe if shot from another angle where the line of trees were in the background and the sky was out of the shot altogether.
