Wow. There's something about this photo, and the kangaroos are so other-wordly to me... they're like some strange fantasy creatures guarding the path (especially the tall one, who looks a bit human). Great shot, with perfect border and processing. |

Great story Roz. I am glad it was not a pack of dogs coming towards you. I'm also glad that the kangaroos took off as soon as katee went after them.
You are so lucky to get a pic like this! If it were me, I would have just stood there and watched and forgotten that I had a camera with me. I love how they are frozen in the moment here and although they seem to be far away, you can still make out the details in their faces.
You are fortunate to have such a variety of animals to photograph. If this were my story, it would have been three squirrels instead of kangaroos lol. |

Lovely capture! How interesting it is to me, as an American, to think of living in a place where kangaroos just wander around like deer do here. Great story, too. |

Ooh that's neat! With the border it looks like an old polaroid shot. The male (I'm guessing the tallest one) looks like he could kick somebody's butt! |

Great sharing of local wildlife. I especially like the framing of the trees and the exposure of the road leading to the roos. Low quality or not, it is a great capture and one I am glad you posted. |

This is phenomenal! I can't believe they just stood there like that, man, this picture looks like it's a painting straight out of a wildlife show or something. I love the border too! I have loved so many shots on this 50 days challenge, but this is the 1st one I have to add to my favs, it is amazing! |

This is one of th best images I have ever seen of kangaroos in there own enviroment..... Just so perfect and so natural.
Totally awesome, and I am proud to be an Australian, when I see images like this.
It could be a cover of a calander.
I love it, Roz and you should be very proud of this one sweet friend.....
This should be a DPC print, and you should have this one in photo of the month.....
It looks like an impressionist Australian painting done by our Aussie Master painters.

Wow, Roz - this is just magical. I put it in my favs right away. It has a mystical quality to it - like the roos are sentient beings trying to communicate with you. Beautiful. |

Gee they look like a gang of animal ne'erdowells. The only thing that is missing is leather jackets and a cigarette hanging from their lips. Definitely a case of you being on their manor!!!!
Glad that the occasionally disobedient Katee was OK, and given this you must have been thrilled with this encounter
Great shot Ros!!! |

Wow! Really cool shot. At first I thought the one in the middle was a person dressed up in costume. It took reading your notes and looking about four times before I realized it really was a kangaroo. You had quite an adventure. |
