 Shot in the marina at Port Elgin Ontario.

The sun was almost set and gave the water a silky texture.

Several ducks were kind enough to swim past slowly and pose for a few shots.

Exceptionally nice, with the water glassy still in front and beautifully rippled in its wake. The lighting is also very effective. It has a look of three-dimensionality to it. Outstanding technically and very satisfying aesthetically.

Honestly, I've taken tons of duck pics, and they just never "do" anything for me. This, however, is really nice. I just love the crispness of the duck next to the beautifully smooth and silky water. The highlights on the water really give it a feeling of movement as well.

Actually, I think it is the composition that lets this down!

It is not quite centred (not necessarily a good or bad thing) neither does it comply with the rule of thirds.
I think more of the still water and less of the rippled would make this much nicer...

I love the silkiness of the water, and how it seems to flow like satin in waves behind the duck. Nice capture.

excellent, nice compo ... great light, sharp enough for looking at the screen, cool reflection ... i would vote it 6 or 7 if the challenge theme is "ducks" :-)
