Lots of grain, but I love the contrast in size.

It's amazing how tiny their fingers are in the beginning. And this is something we quickly forget. Beautiful photo to capture this moment in time.

Outstanding composition and crop. Wonderful tones. And of course, the subject is intensely moving. Amazing how tiny we start out, and how perfectly formed his itty bitty fingers are!

This is a great pictures and memory that you will have for the rest of your lives. I love the way he's squeesing your thumb you can see the white at the tips of his fingers. Great shot. Well done.

Congratulations again on the birth of your new son, Samuel. This is such a cool photograph. I know this is besides the point, but I think the frame is too heavy for such a delicate subject. Other than that, I love it, grain and all.

i LOVE this photo! congrats on the new addition to the family (excellent choice for a name, by the way... i've got an 11 1/2 year old Samuel) I like the way the image captures the size differences of the two hands, as well as the love, the trust, the awesomeness.
