The tent that was purchased at the 2 hour Walmart shopping spree and now abides in my living room. However, we have managed to get it out of the middle now, and off to the side.
I didn't even get out today, so I grabbed my camera and told the kids to get in the tent. I needed a shot for today. :)
Kristi had just finished her bath, thus the wet rat with a pacifier look.
It was slightly out of focus and touch noisy (note to self, check the ISO), so I did what any self-respecting photographer would do. I post processed it.
Cropped, then duplicated a layer, added an intense gaussian blur then reduced the opacity (that is the Paint Shop Pro method of soft focus because my version doesn't "do" soft focus).
Then, I merged the layers and "clarified" the shot.
Ah well. It is a shot. and they are my kids, so of course I think it is cool. Not a prize winner, but endearing. |

I loved to set up tents inside when I was a kid -- even a blanket over some chairs would make a good tent.
This has some nice elements even for non-family to appreciate. I like how the blue of the pacifier echoes your son's t-shirt. Best of all is how your daughter is looking at your son so adoringly. |

I can totally relate to the idea of having a tent in the living room!!!
Kristi's expression as she looks at her brother is just a wonderful 'I love you' one

They're not my kids and I like the photo anyway. :op No really, awesome job on the PP - such an interesting effect, taking it from a snap to art. Darling children, too! |

They are cuties! They also look like they get along together pretty well. This will certainly be a photo to pull out later on in life. |
