One of those magic moments!

In the Adirondacks we had an abundance of Coyotes. Actually the profile of this one reminds me of the foxes even more. Nice profile shot. And I LOVE mountains. Nice job! Good luck in the challenge! Grayce aka Gracious

The only suggestion I could make is probably absolutely impossible. If you could have taken the picture without the overhanging branches, so that it was empty sky, and then adjusted it so that the coyote was silhouetted, that would have been really nice. karmat

if the tree leaves and foreground were a bit more 'siloette' style (black), I think your entry would be a much more powerful use of the theme.

Good use of negative space to accent the loneliness. Unfortunate placement of coyote respective to the bush. Focus is a bit soft, or JPEG artifacts soften edges.

good shot! I know these guys are a difficult target

Nice animal. I wish he was a little lighter so I could see him. 5

Nice coyote picture. I know how hard it is to get some of these animal pictures. Too bad he was in the shadows, would have looked much better in the light.

good.

Congratulations on finding the subject! This is really a great shot -- there is a lot of stuff in the background but it qualifies as negative space because none of it takes away from the subject. Way cool.

Great capture, lucky you. ?Looks more like a fox profile. Good luck. Score 6 Justine

That's a nice silhouette... but the negative space isn't great

A closer crop without the tree above and less ground below would have conveyed negative space better to me. Nice catch :)

Composition: very nice but I dont think this represents negative space, maybe cropped tighter on the coyote 4
Lighting: good 5,
Appeal: 5, Total Rating 5 Sulamk
