Interesting colors. I might have cropped out more of the sky to accentuate the swimmer a bit more. Make the horizon more on the rule of thirds. I like the border. Looks like a rough day to swim!! |

I have come back to this picture a couple of times, i find my eye being drawn to the boat each time. Shame because without it in frame it would be a great shot. |

Nice capture. After watching shark week on discovery channel I'd say brave too. |

Would be nice if the swimmer were more prominent in the shot while at the same time maintaining the vastness of the body of water. This is another shot where I think the connection to the challenge is pretty nebulous. If the swimmer were coming up on the shore or if the shot showed some sort of victory or triumph I think it would be nicer. Will does not equal triumph. Plenty of people have lots of will and still fail in the end. |

Amazing. The only thing I'd like to see would be the swimmer being a bigger part of the frame. Hardly something to be picky about though. |

I get the "Will" but I'm not getting a message of "Triumph" here. The color oif the water is fascinating. |

Good sense of the enormity of the task. |

Nice capture - Love the tones in this - Great sharpness where it needs to be and I hope this does well - I really like it - The one thing that could make this image a lot stronger and that would be with cropping - The horizon is far too centered and there is a lot of sky which this picture isn't about - there is nothing in the sky of interest apart from the gull - I cropped it mid way down the sky from the top and it really gives this image more impact and helps us concentrate on the main subject - The swimmer - Still a great image |

I like the idea and the processing. The swimmer's just a little bit too small in the frame. |

Too much negative space here I had to look for the swimmer- which is nice and sharp though. IMO it could benifit from less sky or even no sky with slightly different perspective. 7 |
