186 - I'm afraid I knew this wouldn't be appreciated, hoped I was terribly wrong.

With Goodman pushing "non-sharpness" in the forums, I hoped this would be embraced.

One of the more emotive works in this challenge. I think you've got a bunch of talent! Don't change for this bunch of yahoos! What do they know?

I'm proud to be one of your 10s.

I'm glad you entered this - while it may not have scored well overall, it certainly pleased those who commented enough to give you a 7.9 score. An excellent image.

just wanted to say that I gave this an 8 and I find that the fact that this barely broke 5 a bit discouraging. The poor masses really lack the appreciation for great photography.

The beauty of this struck me immediately, the moving forms, the diagonal lines and diagonalness of the composition. But then I saw the title and realized I was witnessing the joy of a child. So touching. 10

I think a faster shutter speed would have still allowed for some blur but would have also provided better detail.

I like it. I caught myself trying to imitate the dance. It seems cheerful. We need more cheerful in the streets even with all the cracks in the pavement.
