Taken in downtown Austin. I added some contrast & depth to the colors. Brightened shadows, sharpened & saved for web.

Great photo Kelly. I really like it. I hate entering Free Study's unless I have a photo from Iceland or something. They're just so hard to pull a decent score out of. But the neon lights are awesome, and the depth is spot on.

Hope you did not get hacked off at the score this got...Free Studies can be uber harsh and if you had entered this into a 'normal' challenge it would have scored way higher

I love the colors and sky. Great capture of the neon sign stating this is in fact a "fine food" diner, and NOT a "best burger joint" ;) Underrated, imo.

Hey, I like Hut's Hamburgers. Looks like this photo is leaning a bit though, or maybe it's wide angle distortion.

The colors are nicely saturated and strong, but teh cars, newspaper box, wires, etc. are distracting.

I don't know what's behind Hut's, but I think the angle from the street with the uncropped Hut's sign being over the restaurant and missing the SUV, liquor store and tall buildings in the background would be more effective.

Hamburgers are great, but I am more interested in the liqour store behind Huts. There is a lot going on here with this photo and the whole thing looks a little tilted. 5.
