this should have ranked a lot higher. The concept of negative space in this photo is excelent. Positivespace: candy, children, inocence. Negativespace: boose, drunk, irrisponsible, transition to adulthood - risky |

This photo is so busy and cluttered I can't possibly see any negative space much less for it be the "wow of the image." |

I like the angle in this photo - it's what makes this photo interesting to look at. However, I don't believe that this photo qualifies for the negative space challenge as there is too much detail. |

Not much negative space here, but good photo -- love the fish-eye effect |

The use of negative space in this picture eludes me, but then I'm not sure I understand NS myself. 5 |

This is a wierd look to it. It looks like you're looking out of a little hole. I like how it looks. Kinda a rounded look. 6 |

I don't get it. (using a fisheye lens or was this a curved mirror?) It's not really that bad of a shot, but I can't see anything possibly negative, just two subjects as stated in the title. Have a nice day. 5 Swash |

Interesting fisheye perspective. Where was the negative space again? |

Great contrast between foreground and background but both sooo vivid that I can't see which if any would be your negative space. Like the fish eye effect. But for me this is too busy everywhere to count as negative space (under my own definition, I appreciate your mileage may vary;) 4, Kavey |

Colorful! I'm not sure if it meets this very difficult challenge. Good luck in the challenge. Grayce aka Gracious |

sorry, but this photo does not qualify for negative space in my opinion, there's too much going on in the background. you are even pointing that out in the title. as for the photo, i like the distorted fisheye view, but the stain or scratches on the gumball machine is distracting. i would also suggest cropping your photos tighter when you use that lens (and that means composing the photo so you can loose the edges) so that the 'rounded corners' from the lens aren't visible. -- gr8photos. |

Really like the shot. InventiveĆ¢Ā¦ Looks like you have taken the shot through your own eyes after having first consumed a large portion of the shop's contents :o) |

Cool shot, but where's the negative? Maybe you were showing us the empty space in the container holding the gumballs? apples?. Neat idea, nice angle, but to me doesn't meet the challenge |
