I did not vote in this challenge. What I see as a reason for some of the low scores 1,s 3,s and 4,s is I think due to the darkness of the image. You have shadows under the hands yet the image is dark. I do light composition. Had I voted in this challenge I probably would have given the image a 5.

Nice interpretation of the challenge. Perhaps bump your curves a touch to get a better tonal range on the black and white. I like the border also.

I think the image would have been more affective had the hands been the focus, not the peanuts. Good premise for a hard topic.

Hmmmm. Quite a disturbing take on "Triumph," considering the wedding ring on her hand! Interesting that you chose to do this in B&W. I think this one is a clever answer to the challenge.

Follow-up comment - I guess I'm an idiot - it's not a wedding ring! Still quite a clever answer to this challenge - nice job.

Haha, great idea. Things to improve on...maybe try and focus more on the hands and less on the background. Not sure if this is an effect of noise reduction or not though, it could be. Also, maybe try and use channel mixer to conver to b/w and make it a bit brighter, this one seems kind of dull.

Nice idea but the overall image is a little too staged and the whole image looks a little too grey. Note the focus is more to the back of the frame which is a little off putting(The peanuts are sharp) but the important part - The peoples hands are not.
