how i got the effect... here is a somewhat uncropped version of this photo.



as you can see the feet were a very small part of the original shot, so i think that the majority of the blur is coming from the low pixelation. also, im sure there was a little camera shake in there... as in the majority of my shots cus shanny cant stay still 8)

Shannon, I'm so glad you took it to just the feetsies. This is a fantastic shot. I find that what interests me most (in life) is the small almost insignificant stuff. And the color and the composition is PERFECT here.

This reminds me of Dorothy and her red shoes, in the "Wizard of Oz" movie. and love this blured image very much.

ANOTHER WINNER !! :) .. had caps on by accident, but then thought i'd leave it coz it gives an added emphasis to my compliment ..
