That is one interesting flower and you've captured it well. The blue/green tones in the background provide a nice backdrop for the strong reds. |

Love those weird Aussie plants. We have so many of them in California that we tend to think of them as "ours". |

This is really sweet, and I am pleased you found some Australian flowering plants, as they are so differtant, and so alive, and rich in color, shape, and form.
I love the rich deep cherry red of this one, and the DOF is just perfect, and balances the composition so well.
You have even captured the "Aussie" Blue tone which one finds in our native wildflowers.
