I think this is a great concept and deserves a new try. For sure you can turn this one better and maybe a Ribbon contender.

Nice concept and colour, but I really want to see that fish a little better. |

I'm happy it's a PB but i was hoping to get a 6 in which i didn't :( Anyways someone asked me how i did this shot well here it is nice and brief:
Simply took a blue background (bristol board cheap stuff) and then took 2 small house lamps and laid them in front of a table to illuminate the background. Also put tissues over one of them to diffuse the glow a bit. The smoke in the water that created a nice movement for the fish, was actually unintentional as the water flow that hit the glass made that. Anywho i'm still wishing for that 6. |

This is fun. Hope you share your setup. Clever use of smoke to simulate water movement? Or is that some powder on the water surface that's getting worked down with the water flow? Hmmm. The "fish" looks strange, like it's wearing a dunce cap of something? Anyway...good luck in the challenge. |

The idea is great but the light on the fish makes it look unnatural. Extra points for creativity ;) |

people seem to have an obsession with using glasses on dpc... nevertheless it's clean and catchy. |

humorous and fun. Goldfish color looks great against the blue backdrop. |

funny idea! the glass inside the water is a bit too invisible, but still 9 points for the good idea and the bright colours! |

nice idea - a wee bit over-processed for my tastes, though. << 8 >> |

Great idea but there is not enough contrast between the background and the glass. Perhaps a patterned background out of focus would have worked better. |
