After the concert in Saratoga, we were bussed to Albany for an overnight stay at Sage College. Having been there before, I knew the rooms were just above freezing at night and I forgot my sweatshirt that I meant to take. Got next to no sleep. Nothing new. Anyway I took out the Sigma 70-300MM to shoot around campus. Once the lens hit the warm air it fogged up. So, while waiting for the fog to dissapate, I shot this.

I just love this...the color, the mood, the way you can feel the air hanging around you...it's just beautiful.

This makes me think the sun is so hot and bright that it created a vapor over the lens. Very cool effect.

I know what you mean. Could you try your hand at it and let me know what you did?

I have that problem here but it's so dry and hot that the lens unfogs entirely too quickly! I like this one - has a lazy late summer evening feel to it.
