I like how the sun is in this shot. Good job. 8

Not sure this is "Negative Space". The skipping rock is almost lost in the sun.

Probably too bright to take this one. Not a real good way to correct this with camera or pshop settings. about ten minutes later, this would be a really great shot.

I feel bad when I dont have much to say other than "This picture doesn't do anything for me." sorry

i like kid pics maybe if you cut the pier out the ocean would be more neg space

the glare from the sun is just too much to overcome, no matter how hard you try your eyes always go back to the glare at the top.

I think this would look sweet if it was more of a silhouette with just the kid and highlights of the water. The sun seems too blown out, but I guess you did that so the kid wasn't too dark... Also, it doesn't look level.

Though I like this photo, the sun spot is too much for me and I also don't see negative space. I see space around the main subject but it's composed of various different objects and too compartmentalised to be just negative space. I appreciate this is according to my own definitions of neg space and your mileage may vary.

Need to straighten that horizon.

cute picture, but the sun is really too strong

Nice pic. Too bad the glare on the water spoils it.

Good theme, but the sun glare in the middle makes me feel like I have a cataract when I look at it...

Certianly lens flare normally is an undesirable optical effect of a lens on film or pixals associated with bright light. Too be sure it can be used effectively to enhance an image in surprising ways. This picture could have used a little more work.

Good work, good lens, good luck. Score 7 Justine

NS is pretty busy. I need some shades for this shot!!

This made me squint when it popped on my screen. I suppose that's what happens when you look into the sun. Nice being able to capture the "halo" around the sun. Although I'm not entirely sure what the exact thing we look for in negative space, I'm having problems determining it in this picture. A lot of things are going on in it.
