 I was staying with my wife and children in Copenhagen for a week and just when we were leaving our flat the last morning I looked out of the kitchen´s window from the 4th floor... and saw this. First the shadow from the houses was not near the small chair but eventually it reached the chair. I clicked.

The day before I had looked into DPC at Netcafé and therefore I knew of the Shadow challenge. I had taken another photo for the challenge but I liked this more.

PS: Crop, Levels, Curves, Hue/Saturation, Dodge/Burn, Healing Brush Tool, Rezise, USM, Frame & Save For the Web.

I really like this! The brown color tones are lovely, and the way all the different shadows play together is splendid. Great shot.

I can't believe this did so well. Not because it's a poor photo. just the type of photo is so out of line with general DPC aesthetics. Maybe there's hope yet!

Unusual and interesting. Kind of makes me think about where this is and who placed that chair out there and who is it that sometimes sits there and watches the world. Like the way the chair is in light.

great image! the lines & the apt bldg reflections composition is super. .. you know how in NYC you can see into other people's apts @ nite if the curtains are open?
