I agree with Tom on this shot. The original was much better. Did you get this idea (highlighting laces by PWL) from Photography Monthly?

I wish you had gone with your original shot, which would have scored highly with me, however as this shot stands I agree with the members of the site council, that commented on this shot, in saying that it lacks photogrpahic integrity. |

Striking use of a neon-glow PS filter (or some such filter), but did you "use a non-stationary light source (for example, a moving flashlight in your hand) as the primary method of illumination"? |

I dont believe that this is keeping photographic integrity. Too much Photoshop. 1. |

looks very much like you just ran a filter on this with find edges or something. Curious to know if that was how it was achieved |

If you did this without the use of any photoshop special effects I would give you a 10 +. Very well done. |

I would like to see the challenge entries maintain \"photographic integrity\". Really neat that you can do this, but it transforms, imo, this photo too far to the Digital Art side. |

I LOVE this image. I mean, visually, I'd hang it on my wall. But I admit to some trouble understanding the painting with light aspect - did you do some actual painting with light and then photoshop a neon glow in or is this all natural so to speak? It doesn't matter how much you photoshopped it to me - as long as it started out as being "painted". Can you tell me about it? |

In the true tradition of painting with light. I like this one . My only crit is the missing toe of each boot. My assumption is that it was intentional but I think it would be that !tad" better with it.
The wispy light on the toes is particularly effective

Great job on the image itself and the final result. It's of course very much Photo-Shopped, but who doesn't like shopping :)
What I like most are the thin, pale lines of the tip and in the very back as contrast to the bright laces. Good luck. |

This is a very cool shot. But I am not sure if you reached this effect via Photoshop filters or using light painting. If you used light painting, I would love to know how you managed to be so accurate. I hope you tell all afe the challenge is over. |

cool effect - especially paired with this processing - Neon Shoes! Abstract, but recognizable, and easy to relate to and enjoy. 9 |

I don't think this photo meets the challenge. There is no photographic technique here... just photoshop. The 'photographic' integrity, which is important in advanced editing challenges has been abused, in my opinion. = 1 |
