 Cindy and Marguerite are approaching their 60th birthdays. They look a little tired and nostalgic, like most old ladies who've lived busy and bumpy lives. They aren't much for makeup or hairdos but I admit to oiling their faces a bit to bring out that old 1950's hard-vinyl sheen.

this is a scary picture but not very creative.

Lighting is waaay to flat here, INMHO. A single key light coming from 45-70 degrees off center & the same amount up would have provided more modeling. Centered framing is unpleasant here as well.

Nicely done. Good composition. Contrast between subject and background very well done.
