 I wanted to reshoot to correct the alignment on the label, but the pie started to melt and i had to eat it :)

good idea. I do feel that their is a bit too much space under the pie and feel that the focus should have been more on the tip of the pie and not the back.

one of the best in the challenge and following the actual challenge description as well! I wish the front of the cake was more in focus but the composition and lighting with the black background make this a great entry

I like the perspective. The DOF may be a bit too shallow as I would have liked to see the tip of the dessert also in focus.
