 THE IMAGE: Once the challenge was announced I knew exactly where I would be at the crack of dawn. I took some of my favourite images of the year and had a hard time choosing which one. This one stood out.

THE EDIT: Levels, USM and a little dodge and burn. I also changed the colour balance a little. I know I will get picked on for the saturation, but I love the violets and the orange in the sky reflected off the city lights.

PREDICTION: I think maybe a high 6. I hope voters will be kind to me this time...if not at least just over 6

POST CHALLENGE: Had high hopes for this so it fell below my expectations. I LOVE this image

Not bad. I assume the light reflection in the water is the focal point. I wouldn't have centered it.

exquisite - the hues are wonderful.. the focus is crisp.. the way you captured the moon is dead on... I have no suggestions to improve this shot.
