Thanks so much for all your comments. I love this site. I went back and reshot this pic lower to the ground, as suggested, and was surprised to find I was not happy with the result. As such, my eye definitely shifted away from the tree, which I think is the most interesting subject, to the house.

looks oversaturated, especially the sky |

The branch totally cuts off the view of the house. My eyes keep traveling up the photo towards the house and then I can't see it. |

I can't wait to see how this was done under Basic editing. Looks good GL. |

Nice coloring. I think this would have improved by stooping to put the branch over the house. |

I am mesmerized by the brilliant yellow-green cast of the photo. |

The colors look overdone...but I actually like that here. Makes it look like a painting. Nice job. |

Why compose the shot with the branch right across the house? I think there might have been a good shot here, but the current composition does not work. 4 |

That yellow-green grass hurts my eyes. Hope it's just my monitor. |

I like the position of the tree and building but would like to have seen the building without the branch through the middle of it. Could you have achieved a better result by positioning the camera closer to the ground so the branch went over the top?
Oh and the colours are too saturated for my taste. |
