Thanks so much for all your comments. I love this site. I went back and reshot this pic lower to the ground, as suggested, and was surprised to find I was not happy with the result. As such, my eye definitely shifted away from the tree, which I think is the most interesting subject, to the house.

looks oversaturated, especially the sky

The branch totally cuts off the view of the house. My eyes keep traveling up the photo towards the house and then I can't see it.

I can't wait to see how this was done under Basic editing. Looks good GL.

Nice coloring. I think this would have improved by stooping to put the branch over the house.

I am mesmerized by the brilliant yellow-green cast of the photo.

The colors look overdone...but I actually like that here. Makes it look like a painting. Nice job.

Why compose the shot with the branch right across the house? I think there might have been a good shot here, but the current composition does not work. 4

That yellow-green grass hurts my eyes. Hope it's just my monitor.

I like the position of the tree and building but would like to have seen the building without the branch through the middle of it. Could you have achieved a better result by positioning the camera closer to the ground so the branch went over the top?

Oh and the colours are too saturated for my taste.
