How many of you people have seen a crawfish. It's a crawfish! The american symbol is cancer or lobster, but she's from sweden. |

Hi Mona,
I like your composition and close cropping of the crawfish.
The color contrast is also very nice.
I personally would of liked a bit more focus/clarity on the head...perhaps shooting more from an upward angle.
Glad you participated in the challenge. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

I believe that looks more like a lobster than a crab. |

I know you'll have got this a lot, but isn't that a lobster, not a crab...? Good shot anyway, and it's at least fairly crabby... :) |

This is the first high quality shot I've seen so far.
Besides that - good macro work and I wish the ice was a little less exposed lower left corner. |

Good choice to opt for close up - filling the frame can certainly add more interest to an everyday subject. |

I like the little bit of ive on the mouth parts, I wish it were sharper on the top of the shell. Perhaps you could include a bit more of this interesting looking creature - the legs seem so cut-off. |

is this a lobster? Regardless, I like the angle & composition. I also changed your score, bumped it up to an 8! |

Top of the crawfish's seems out of focus. Interesting subject matter. Not too crazy about that thin red line in the border: loses its intensity along quite a few spots around the edge of the image.. Plain black would have been better. |

Looks more like a lobster than a crab, but they're all shellfish. I might have tried a tighter crop on the eyes. The top of the head seems out of focus. |

This is a shrimp, not a grab. |

This looks like a lobster not a crab? I like the photo though... although I would have liked to have seen a little more definition to the ice underneath, especially on the left side. |

The eyes are sharp and in focus, thats important. You also seem to have got good texture expression |
