 Hey.. blue and yellowish orange are complimentary colors... they just seem to go together!

I bought these flowers to brighten up my room and my life a little bit, since it is so incredibly grey and dreary and cold outside. I thought this was a bright and happy photo, that would look good, possibly on the wall, to bright up someone's day. I wish I had taken this and entered it for the motivational poster challenge, but here is is now. Enjoy!

Since it wasn't the motivational poster... but I really love this photo... I decided to enter it in Things that Go together... just because I really love this photo... so I had to find something that worked for the challenge :-) Luckily with a little help I came up with the complimentary colors (thanks Konador!) I hope you like it as much as I do, and it brightens up your day as well!

I love the colors and composition of this shot. The red border detracts from it, though.

The colors definitely give a warming feeling. Composition is very interesting. the background really helps to push the subjects out of the shot. One thing I don't like is that there seems to be a halo around the flowers. "9"

Pretty good lighting, strong color, and I like the dof. I dislike the red/orange in the border-it seems to compete with the flowers. I find the black in the background a little distracting. The color gives it a modicum of immediate visual impact.

While I wish the purple was a bit stronger for the compliment to the yellow (or the blue more prominent to the oranges) this is an original and good take on the Challenge. Wish I'd thought of it.

Beautiful colors that go together. This is my favorite color combination.

The orange/red border is not to my taste.

Think the red frame detracts (would have like to see one color in the photo especially since that's the matching element here)
